TTC Timeline

July 2016 - came off all birth control

October 2016 - first regular ovulatory cycle

June 26, 2017 - still no positive pregnancy tests; DH did first semen analysis; 2 sperm in the sample, both non-motile

July 17, 2017 - first urologist consultation (did not like this doctor); blood work results are in, low testosterone (251) and normal FSH (7.3) and LH (4.8); Negative for Y-chromosome deletion

August 18, 2017 - second urologist consult (really liked this doctor); stated DH on Clomid (50 mg a day for 3 months)

August 28, 2017 - DH did second semen analysis; 0 sperm found

September 29, 2017 - DH did second blood test; very high FHS (21.3) and LH (30.7), normal testosterone (437)

October 18, 2017 - consult with local RE. He discovered I have a septum in my uterus that needs to be resected. He also is pretty positive that I have endometriosis, so he plans on removing that as well on the same day. *I started birth control on 10/16 for one cycle to give me break from my heavy periods.

October 31, 2017 - final semen analysis for DH; 800,000 sperm were found in the sample. 35% motility and 0% morphology. Switching gears now to IVF with ICSI

November 16, 2017 - hysteroscopy and laparoscopy to remove the septum in my uterus and to remove Stage II Endometriosis

December 1, 2017 - IVF consult with CNY Fertility

December 8, 2017 - DH fourth semen analysis - 0 sperm Taking a break for a month before doing a 5th semen analysis

December 19, 2017 - Found out that I have a tubal disease called SIN. My local RE says my chances of success with donor sperm IUI are low and I'm now at a high risk for ectopic pregnancies. This has made us decide to do IVF no matter what.

IVF CYCLE #1

January 5, 2018 - Baseline ultrasound and labs on CD 2. Started birth control the next day for 2 weeks

January 11, 2018 - Follow-up ultrasound at F.I.N.O. to make sure the septum is gone; DH fifth semen analysis

January 22, 2018 - Second IVF baseline appointment and started stimulation medications that night (Estradiol is 25)

January 26, 2018 - First IVF monitoring appointment - 20 measurable follicles with 4-5 smaller ones that might catch up (Estradiol is 874.10)

January 29, 2018 - Second IVF monitoring appointment - 34 measurable follicles (Estradiol is 2,711.30); lining is too thin for a fresh transfer so we are converting this cycle to a freeze-all

January 31, 2018 - Third IVF monitoring appointment - 32 measurable follicles; lining miraculously grew to 9mm in 2 days so we are back on for a fresh transfer!

February 2, 2018 - Egg Retrieval - 24 eggs retrieved and DH had a miracle! 3 million sperm in his sample so we didn’t have to use donor.

February 3, 2018 - Fertilization Update - 24 eggs were retrieved, 19 were mature and 17 fertilized

February 5, 2018 - Embryo Transfer of 2 embryos. The first was a grade 3 (good) morula and the second was a grade 4 (excellent) 9 cell embryo.

February 8, 2018 - Embryo Update - 13 embryos were frozen on Day 5, and the other 2 were frozen on day 6! So All of the embryos besides the ones I transferred made it to the blast stage and were frozen!! So thankful.

February 10-15, 2018 - Negative home pregnancy tests

February 16, 2018 - Beta Test Day - negative

February 22, 2018 - CD 3 baseline appointment for FET #1. Started meds on the 23rd.

March 2, 2018 - Lining Check. Lining was at 9mm and triple striped.

March 9, 2018 - FET of two 5AA blastocysts

March 12, 2018 - First ever BFP!!!

March 19, 2018 - Beta Test Day - Beta Results 10dp5dt: 690.74

March 21, 2018 - Second Beta Test Day - Beta Results 12dp5dt: 2,049

March 28, 2018 - First Prenatal Ultrasound - It's TWINS!

April 4, 2018 - Second Prenatal Ultrasound - Baby A 111bpm/Baby B 104bpm - Graduated from CNY Fertility!

April 15, 2018 - Scary ER visit due to bleeding. Both twins were fine with heart rates of 150 (Baby A) and 170 (Baby B).

April 16, 2018 - First OB/GYN Appointment

April 20, 2018 - First scan with OB/GYN Doctor

April 28, 2018 - Last PIO shot!!

May 14, 2018 - 12 weeks OB visit and scan. Both twins looked great!

May 27, 2018 - Gender Reveal! BOY and GIRL!

May 30, 2018 - Surprise! It's actually 2 boys. The first scan was wrong.

June 12, 2018 - 16 weeks OB and MFM visits and scan. Babies look great, confirmed boys.
June 25-28, 2018 - Admitted to the hospital for preterm labor, dehydration.
July 5, 2018 - 20 weeks OB and MFM visits and scan. Everything looked great. Long cervix.

Future plans:

November 5, 2018 - Expected C-Section of the twins!!

November 25, 2018 - Official due date for the twins.
